The Trinity... What is your view towards this historic doctrine of the Christian Church? For many people, the doctrine of the Trinity is one of the most central and important of all Christian beliefs. If you do not embrace a triune understanding of God, then according to them you have no right to be called a Christian. But some object to this view, and believe that the Trinity is in fact intellectual incoherence. But is this a sufficient reason to reject the doctrine? Many take the position that it isn't a matter of whether the doctrine makes sense or not, it’s simply important that you believe it. But why would so many Christians line up behind a doctrine and give it lip service if it is something they don't understand?

This small book begins a discussion on this dilemma and considers some of the problems with the doctrine of the Trinity. It presents little known facts (i.e., information) relevant to the doctrine of the Trinity and takes a critical look at the arguments and proof-texts used to defend what is believed to be a core doctrine of the Christian faith.
