City of Refuge

City of Refuge

Abi lives in Golan, one of the cities of refuge God instructed His people to set up. She knows the Law of Moses better than most eleven-year-olds. But when a frightened young man arrives at the city gate, Abi finds that knowing the law and understanding the truth are not always the same thing.
The man claims his friend’s death was an accident. Abi longs to believe him, especially when she meets the family he left behind. But as questions grow and secrets surface, Abi wonders if the elders are seeing everything.
Will Abba and the elders be able to figure out what really happened? Or will they need some help from Abi?
City of Refuge is a thoughtful mystery about seeking truth, facing bitterness, and learning to forgive.
