Commenting on the letters of the Apostle Paul, Peter wrote of “some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures”. Since Peter’s time, many sincere Bible readers, tangled up in discussion about some principle of the Truth, have at one time or another found themselves inadequately prepared for such discussion.
Ron Abel’s “handbook of suggested explanations to difficult Bible passages” helps readers in their preaching of the Truth as it is understood by the Christadelphian community, guiding them in how to deal with passages of the Bible that are misunderstood or misrepresented by other religious groups.
Arising from the author’s real-life preaching experiences, it was first published in 1970, then revised and expanded by John Allfree in 2004.
