This collection of twenty-five exhortations, each based on the Lord Jesus, is written to help us ensure that our weekly memorial of him is not merely the act of eating bread and drinking wine, but is done with our Saviour as the true focus of our attention. Real benefit is derived from our memorial meetings only when they are done, as he asked of us, ‘in remembrance of him’.
