Although this hymnbook has been very well received as a hymn book, youth hymnbook and sunday school hymnbook, there is a very negative review in the Testamony Magazine of July 2001, (http://www.testimony-magazine.org/back/jul2001/nicholls.pdf) mainly that the hymns do not preach enough "doctrine" in their messages. Many will find that this is not the intention of a hymnbook for young people.
